Subject: Best hardcase for flying with a bike?

I need to fly to Canada with my mountain bike in a couple of weeks,
and am looking for recommendations on the best case to use.
My primary considerations are least amount of hassle from the
airlines, and ease of packing.

Any and all suggestions, recommendations, and horror stories welcomed.
